The mean
- arrange the data in ascending order
- the sum of all data over the number of data
Outlier
- with an outlier the mean is less accurate "average"
The Median
- arrange data in ascending order
- find the middle number
2 Middle numbers?
- add the to middle number up then divide by 2 or find the mean for the both of them.
Outliers?
- the median takes out the outliers
The Mode
- arrange the data in ascending order
- most common number in the set of data
2 side points
- you can have more than one mode
- and you can have no mode
- arrange the data in ascending order
- subtract the smallest piece of data for the largest piece of dat
(Large Range = an outlier)
