Pythagoras was a UBER smart Greek mathmitician.
People were not sure if he was real or not ,
because there was no evidence of his exsistence.

Vocabulary -

Legs: Lines that come out of a right angle , with one going up and the other to the side.
Hypotenuse: The longest side of the triangle and opposite of the right angle.

R.A.T.: Right Angle Triangle.

Greek: Someone who comes from Greece.

Theroum: A Theory that can be proved.

This vocabulary is all connected by the Pythagorean theorum.

This artifact is a square. The lines shown are lines of simitry.
The lines of simetry say that all 4 sides are equal. 2 Right Angle Triangles make a square.

This artifact is a right angle triangle. I has 3 sides. side A & side B which are the legs. Side C which is the hypotunuse and also the longest side.

This is Harbecks Toy INC board game. It is made up of a square and 4 identical triangles. The center square has an area of 225cm². We have to figure out what the perimeter of the game board is.

So first we need to find out what the square root is , and that its 15cm. Now we know each of the legs is 15cm. Now we need to solve for the hypotenuse. So this is how we would do it ,
( 15x15 ) + ( 15x15 ) = c²

225 + 225 = c²

450 = c²

Here are my Pythagoras Videos.

    Heyy, Alex!!
You did an awesome job!! Your definitions are soo good. They explained so much. I also liked your use of colour.
I think you got some mistakes with your spelling though. Like you put simetry when it's supposed to be symmetry. An it would help to if you earased all that space in your post.
But other than that I think you did a great job! ☺
