PAYING IT FORWARD.
for paying it forward i went bowling with my cousins and family. I handed out a pamphlet and 2 home made cookies to strangers who worked at the bowling alley. My pamphlet said " Little things can make a BIG difference". I told the people who worked there to pay it forward. They took it the wrong way because i said "pay it forward like asking for money or something", but i told them to keep their money and just give it to a shelter or to poor people, or kids ineed. They said they would. The reason why my cousins, family and I went bowling was because it was mine and my aunties birthday the next day and it was already school so we couldn't celebrate it. After my birthday party with my family was over they gave me money for a present almost 80$. Instead i decided that i didn't really need anything so i put most of the money in a donation jar in the bowling place. I felt really good because some of my money can be a good help to other people. Also in my uncles church we save a lot of money every year helping the kids in the Philippines its called "ga-wad kaling-a" gaaa- waaaad-kaaa-liiing - AH ''. Its for kids my age who dont have enough money to go to school and also babies who are really sick and dont have money to pay for medicine

So for my pay it forward i shoveld my grandma and grandpas driveway because my grandma was out of town and my grandpa pinched a nerve in his rib so it was the least i could do. So i threw my jacket on but since i was at my grandma and grandpas i had no gloves so i askedmy grandpa for gloves and he could only find one so im out side shoveling there huge drive way with no touque and one glove but i didnt care cause i was helping my grandpa but after i was done i didnt think it was enough so I got out the snow blower and shoveld 5 more houses telling all the people to pay it forward even though i coulda made 20 bucks i refused the money and just told them helping other people would be good enough so they said they would and thats how i payed it forward

Before the break we were all assigned to do this thing called ' Pay It Forward ' To be honest I'm not that type of kid who's going to do something without getting paid but whatever. To help pay forward i helped my dad shovel our lawn after his hard day of work, well apparently i did all the work because after 5 minutes he gave me the shovel and went inside watching me through the window. I was shoveling for about an hour since it was freezing cold last night. I told my dad not to pay me, well he wouldn't anyways but instead i told him to ' Pay it forward ' He asked me what's that? and i told him ' Instead of paying me back do something nice for someone else ' and he did, he did the laundry for my mom, haha. The other thing i did to pay it forward was find old clothes i don't usually wear anymore and give i to my mom, and fold it together so we can send them to the salvation army. I also told my mom to pay it forward and she was like ' ano ba yan ' which meant ' what's that ' and i told her the same thing i told my dad. Instead of paying me back do something nice for someone else, and i guess she did by giving clothes to the salvation army.

I didn't really have any idea of what I was going to do but I was not aware I had to do this. But over the break my Aunt, Sarah was moving out of my cousin's house so i helped her load the car with all her stuff. There was alot and we had to move quite a bit but I guess that that is a good thing to do. I also scraped the snow off my dad's car a few times. I dont know thats not much but thats what I did without asking for anything in return. I also helped my cousin with a few things but not really that important. When helping I felt good because i helped another person and I was happy that i was spreading a little bit of happiness.

Before the winter break, all of the grade eights watched a movie called "Pay It Forward". The movie was about a little boy who payed it forward, by helping 3 people. All of the grade 8 students were assigned to pay it forward, by doing ONE act of kindness for a person that we know or a stranger. My friends and I decided to help Eunice's neighbor, by shoveling her sidewalk for her.



We didn't get the chance to tell the person to pay it forward, because nobody answered the door. Right after shovelling, I felt really good that I helped someone without asking for anything in return. I'm also glad that for once I thought of somebody who needed help, instead of thinking about myself. This assignment taught me to care and help others, and to always do something nice for someone whenever I can. There is only 1 purpose of doing this assignment, and that purpose is to make a difference in someone's life!



Now that I payed it forward, you should too! So you can make a difference in someone's life.



Can One Person Make A Difference? One person can truly make a difference. If no one made a diiference in this world, we wouldn't have what we need!

Over the holiday we were asked to pay it forward. We had two weeks to do and act of kindness for some one else. For my random act of kindness I decided to do two things. The first thing I decided to do was shovel my neighbors snow. It was a cold winter day but it snowed a little so I took that oportunity and shoveled my neighbors snow. I shoveled for 2 houses. After I was finished shoveling each house I made a letter that said PAY IR FORWARD! Im preatty sure when they came back home they were very happy.
