Today in class we have learned how to group "like" terms together. When you have many integers in the question you add all the positive integers together and all the negative integers together. Mr. Harbeck showed us to do it an easy way which is what I am going to show you in my work that is below.

Here are 5 questions that are answered in section "G" :

41. (+99)+(-85)+(+13)=
(+99)+(+13)= 122
(+112)+(-85) = 27 is the answer

42. (-88)+(-42)+(+36)=
(-88)+(-42)= -130
(-130)+(+36)= -94 is the answer

43. (-25)+(+72)+(-73)=
(-25)+(-73)= -98
(-98)+(+72)= -26 is the answer

44. (+15)+(-15)+(+102)=
(+102)+(+15)= 117
(+117)+(-15)= 102 is the answer

In question 44 you can also use a zero pair because -15 and +15 are there. So once you find the sum of those 2 numbers which is zero. You add 0 and 102 and the answer is 102.

46. (-23)+(-37)+(+58)=
(-23)+(-37)= -60
(-60)+(+58)= -2 is the answer

If you guys need help with any other questions just leave me a comment and i will do my best to explain and show you how to add integers. Hopefully, you people learned something from my scribe post.

Here is a video I have found on youtube about integers.

I choose Avery M. to be the next scribe
